Dr. Muhammad Arshad Zia, founder leader and director Al-Rushd Institute Oslo Norway, is a distinguished religious scholar, with deep understanding of Islamic jurisprudence and theology. He has completed his MS Islamic Jurisprudence from international Islamic University Islam Abad and PhD in Islamic Thought and Civilization from University of Management & Technology Lahore, Pakistan. He joined University of Gujrat as a lecturer in Islamic Studies department in 2012 and served for three years. He also worked at Arid Agriculture University Gujrat campus. He has published many research papers in HEC Pakistan recognized journals. He has been appointed as an external supervisor to evaluate PhD Islamic Studies theses by some of the leading universities in Pakistan.

Al-Rushd envisions the revival of spiritual endeavor based on the true teachings of Islam. We strive a world where humanity is respected irrespective of language, colour, caste and religion, and every individual has the chance to live a honorable and dignified life. We are dedicated to this vision through our various educational programs and spiritual initiatives, as well as by collaborating with organizations and individuals who share our mission and values.
Mission
The mission of Al-Rushd is to deliver essential services and support to the community, concentrating on education and training. We specially focus on ethics and character building of Muslim youth through worship and spirituality. Our purpose is the promotion of peace and harmony in multicultural society, ensuring mutual respect and tolerance. We ensure to propagation of the teachings of Islam with moderation and wisdom. We strive for preservation of family values and survival of relationships by teaching life skills, moral values and social responsibilities. We are dedicated to offer research based work as per contemporary requirements. Through our various programs and initiatives, We respond to the propaganda against Islam and Prophet of Islam Peace be upon Him with solid academic foundations and research arguments. Our mission is rooted in the values of compassion, integrity, and social responsibility, and we are committed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

QURAN teaching
The Prophet said,
"The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 61, Hadith 545)
Learning the Quran is a profoundly valuable practice that every Muslim should engage in daily. It offers deep insights into all aspects of life, brings them closer to the Creator, and serves as a testament to the rewards of their good deeds on the Day of Judgment. Moreover, it nurtures a sense of spiritual fulfillment and guidance.
mosque renovation
The Prophet said,
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 8, Hadith 441 and Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 1083)
Constructing a mosque is a remarkable act of continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). The rewards for this noble deed are perpetual, and as long as the mosque serves the community, you will continue to earn blessings from Allah (SWT), extending even into the Hereafter.
Family counsling
The Prophet said,
"The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best among you to my family."
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3895)

The Prophet said,
"Charity does not decrease wealth. No one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah elevates his status."
(Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Hadith 6264)

Existence of Islamic schools
The Prophet said,
"A father gives his child nothing better than a good education."
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 4977)

The Prophet said,
